CSKA Moscow Favourites to be crowned EuroLeague Champions

After an active off-season signing Othello Hunter, Alan Makiev, Sergio Rodriguez, Leo Westermann and Will Clyburn, CSKA Moscow appear to be the odds on favourites heading into the 2017-2018 season.

Despite losing Milos Teodosic to the LA Clippers, CSKA have kept hold of 2015-2016 EuroLeague MVP Nando de Colo and veteran big man Kyle Hines. Their revamped roster now boasts even more shooting, athleticism and the veteran experience required to lift the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Trophy.

This is far from a one horse race, with Real Madrid sitting at 4/1; odds which may improve in their favour following Luka Doncic’s unbelievable EuroBasket showing.

The odds below are likely to change just before the start of the season on 12th October, but here are the most up to date as of today*:

CSKA Moscow 5/2 Fenerbahce Istanbul 11/4

Real Madrid 4/1 Olympiakos 8/1

Panathinaikos 10/1 FC Barcelona 12/1

Maccabi Tel-Aviv 12/1 Anadolu Efes 30/1

Baskonia Gasteiz 30/1 Valencia Basket 30/1

Unicaja Malaga 40/1 Emporio Armani Milano 50/1

Khimki Moscow 50/1 Brose Basket Bamberg 60/1

Zalgiris Kaunas 80/1 Red Star Belgrade 250/1

*All odds accurate as of 19/09/2017 as per bwin.com
